Pakistan is gearing up to host an exciting tri-nation ODI series featuring New Zealand and South Africa from February 8 to 14, 2025. The tournament will be played in a single-league format and will serve as a crucial preparation opportunity for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be held one week later. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the National Bank Stadium in Karachi will be the two venues for the series, with both stadiums undergoing extensive renovations to enhance the playing and viewing experience.

The series will commence with Pakistan taking on New Zealand on February 8 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Black Caps will then face South Africa in a day match on February 10 at the same venue.

Following these two matches, the tournament will shift to Karachi, where Pakistan will lock horns with South Africa in a day/night encounter at the National Bank Stadium on February 12. The top two teams from the league stage will then meet in the final on February 14 in Karachi.

With the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 also set to be held in Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has worked extensively on revamping its stadiums.

The Gaddafi Stadium now boasts an increased seating capacity with newly installed chairs throughout the venue. Additionally, 480 state-of-the-art LED floodlights have been introduced to improve the broadcast LUX levels.

Meanwhile, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, significant upgrades have been made, including the construction of a new hospitality enclosure for players and officials at the University End. These enhancements aim to provide better facilities and a modernized atmosphere for both players and fans.

Ahead of the series, Pakistan and New Zealand will conduct training sessions under lights at the Gaddafi Stadium on February 6, while South Africa will have their first training session at the venue on the morning of February 9.
